              <p>In this work we present some results from 3D hybrid simulations of the interaction between extreme solar events, such as Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) or Co-rotating Interaction Regions (CIRs), and a 3D Earth-like geo-environment. The events are generated and let evolve self-consistently in order to represent their typical realistic Earth-hitting characteristics as described by the averaged profiles obtained from decades of observations at 1 AU. Both shock-less and shock-driven configurations are considered to highlight the differences between the two scenarios in terms of their kinetic dynamics, as well as in terms of the effects on the Bow-Shock / Magnetosheath / Magnetosphere system.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</p>
