Impact of a Non-Perfect Transformer in the Behavior of Three Phase Resonant Converter
Résumé
This paper compares the operating of a three-phase, high frequency, series resonant converter
(700 kHz, 15 V-15 V, 100 W) with balanced and unbalanced transformer. Analytical equivalent single
phase circuit modelling of three phase transformer is described for both cases. A new design of planar
transformer is proposed which allows for a better balancing of the magnetomotive force. The sizing
method of such transformer is detailed.
