Étude exploratoire de données alternatives
Résumé
In the context of mountain rescue, a person who calls the rescue services often describes her position by means of spatial relations with given landmarks. This report summarizes studies made by students in the context of the CHOUCAS ANR research project, on a task aiming exploring various datasources and methods to compile a dataset of such landmarks. 26 studies are summarised, of which 2 have been made in the context of internships and 24 have been made in the context of student projects of a few days to a few weeks from undergraduate to Master level. The projects are grouped into two categories: projects aiming at collect or semantically enhance geographical data (either manually thanks to dedicated tools or automatically, e.g. how to detect haipin bend series on footpaths), and projects focused on model calibration (e.g. what are the effects of the parameterization of an intervisibility tool on resulting viewheds).
