Field trial to assess bayesian optimization for improving QoT estimation

Résumé

A Bayesian optimization-based approach was investigated with data extracted from a live network as part of a field trial to retrieve hard-to-measure equipment parameters. These parameters were then utilized to improve the accuracy of the Quality of Transmission estimation.
