Ecologia di classe : con Latour oltre Latour
Résumé
The problem raised by Bruno Latour and Nikolaj Schultz's memo on the new ecological class is of paramount importance for struggles in the Anthropocene: what is the political subject of the ecological revolution? Through what struggles, alliances and fronts will it be constituted? On the basis of what common experiences? In this article, we nevertheless point out some epistemological inconsistencies in the hypotheses formulated by the authors to answer these questions. The idea of an ecological recomposition of the proletariat opens up a political imaginary that is more revolutionary and more fertile than an ecological class embodied by ecological parties. It allows us to maintain the political centrality of the concept of class, based on a shared experience, between humans and non-humans, of exploitation and work, domination and dispossession.
