Le dragon au XXIe siècle: tradition, adaptation, rupture
Résumé
Dragons were popular creatures in medieval literature and fairy tales. After disappearing for a century, they made a remarquable comeback in the 20th and 21st century literature and cinema. This paper analyses the characteristics of contemporary dragons and draws parallels with their medieval counterparts. This comparative study will focus on three different yet complementary aspects: tradition, adaptation and rupture.
