Microwatt-Level Soliton Frequency Comb Generation in Microresonators Using an Auxiliary Laser

Résumé

We report a simple and robust method to generate soliton frequency combs in microresonators assisted by an auxiliary laser. Our method significantly enhances the soliton access range and enables threshold powers down to 780 microwatt.
