Harmonization of heterogeneous learners profiles

Résumé

This paper considers the issues raised by the reuse of existing learners profiles. Indeed, heterogeneity of learners profiles, both structure and content wise, makes difficult their reuse in a system which haven't created them. A profiles modeling language (PMDL) is proposed in the aim of sharing and reusing profiles. Throughout this paper, the example of an existing profile is used to illustrate our propositions. A deployment of this language within a computerized environment have been carried out, which permitted to assess these propositions. Finally, evaluations are presented: one focused on PMDL language expressive power and the other on its deployment.
