COLLE : a Matlab toolbox for solving the Lugiato-Lefever equation in the stationary regime

Résumé

COLLE is a Matlab toolbox developed to solve the stationary Lugiato-Lefever equation (LLE) both for ring-shaped optical resonators and for Fabry-Perot optical resonators. 
In optics, the stationary Lugiato-Lefever equation is a model for Kerr comb generation in optical resonators. 
The Lugiato-Lefever equation for a ring-shaped optical resonator (RS-LLE) is solved by using a collocation method as implemented in Matlab bvp4c solver. 
Since Matlab bvp4c solver can not handle the case of Lugiato-Lefever equation for a Fabry-Perot optical resonator (FP-LLE), we have implemented a dedicated approach based on a Finite Difference discretization of the FP-LLE together with a solving of the resulting system of non-linear equations by Matlab fsolve solver.
