<p>On the one hand, his Narnia Chronicles, particularly The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe are still some of the most well-loved novels in English children's literature. For instance, to mark the centenary anniversary of his birth in 1998, in addition to new editions of the seven-book chronicles, numerous national events were organized.
