[Invited] Topological Tamm states based on flat band symmetry inversion
Résumé
We study topological Tamm states at the interface between two comb-like photonic or phononic crystals based
on a new mechanism of band inversion symmetry due to the existence of flat bands. Several arguments such
as the Zak phase or the phase of the reflection coefficients support the topological nature of the interface
states. The analytical results are well reproduced by experiments using coaxial cables.
