              <p>Organic matrix laminated composites are increasingly used in the aeronautical field. These materials can be damage by impacts that can lead to delamination or a crack propagation. The delamination is a significant decohesion of the resin-rich inter-laminar environment. It is a fracture mechanism that can lead to the failure of the structure. The energy release rate (G) is used to characterize inter-laminar strength. It is is usually estimated from global load measurements. A microscopic approach can be also used at the local resin scale to determine fracture toughness with stress intensity factors (K_I et K_II) using local measurements. Non-singular terms from the Williams series for others materials have been also employed. In this paper, full field measurement by digital image correlation (DIC) is used to obtain K_I and other parameters defining the mechanical state in the vicinity of the crack tip. An experimental setup was designed under quasi-static loading to validate this method for pure epoxy resin specimen. The experiments show that the effects of geometry influence the results and must be taken into account when determining the dynamic toughness.</p>

              <p>Les composites stratifiés à matrice organique sont de plus en plus utilisés dans le domaine aéronautique. Ces matériaux peuvent être endommagés par des impacts qui peuvent conduire à la délamination ou à la propagation d'une fissure. Le délaminage est une décohésion importante de l'environnement inter-laminaire riche en résine. C'est un mécanisme de rupture qui peut conduire à la rupture de la structure. Le taux de restitution d'énergie (G) est utilisé pour caractériser la résistance inter-laminaire. Il est généralement estimé à partir de mesures de charge globale via des bilans énergétiques. Une approche microscopique peut être utilisée à l'échelle locale de la résine pour déterminer la ténacité à la rupture avec les facteurs d'intensité de contrainte (K_I et K_II) en utilisant des mesures locales. Des termes non singuliers de la série de Williams pour d'autres matériaux ont peuvent également été utilisés. Dans cet article, une mesure de champ par corrélation d'images numériques (DIC) est utilisée pour obtenir G et d'autres paramètres définissant l'état mécanique au voisinage de la pointe de la fissure. Un dispositif expérimental a été conçu sous chargement quasi-statique afin de valider cette méthode pour un spécimen de résine époxy pure. Les expériences montrent que les effets de la géométrie influencent les résultats et doivent être pris en compte lors de la détermination de la ténacité dynamique.</p>
