Optimizing TBM Parameters through Surface Settlement Monitoring Using Surrogate Modelling Approach

Résumé

The process of validating modeling assumptions and calibrating the model using sensor data (Figure 3) involves running numerous simulations to fine-tune the numerical model (outlined in Figure 2) until an accurate representation of the observed data is achieved. The ultimate aim of calibration is to identify the optimal set of input parameters that effectively explain the monitored data.
