Que voit Dionysos dans le miroir ? La nouvelle interprétation « néoplatonicienne » de Giorgio Colli
Résumé
This article considers Giorgio Colli's original interpretation of the myth of the Child Dionysus killed by the Titans, while he looks in a mirror. The suggestion of this reading is that Dionysus sees the world in the mirror and that we, like anything else, are nothing but the reflected image of the god. Following a confrontation with the uses that Plotinus, Proclus, Olympiodorus and Damascius make of the myth and in particular the symbol of the mirror, I argue that Colli's interpretation, although original, is nevertheless in the theoretical framework of Neoplatonism. This led to the outline of certain points of contact between Plotinus' philosophy and Colli's philosophy of expression, showing undeniable theoretical issues that could be of interest to both the researcher who deals with Neoplatonism and the contemporary philosopher..
