Apport du soin-étude chez les adolescents en refus scolaire anxieux avec addiction aux jeux vidéo au travers d'une illustration clinique
Résumé
Since 2019, the French Student Health Foundation has created a new inpatient treatment unit specialized in the management of adolescence's addictive behavior. This unit articulates its therapeutic project around three axes: multidimensional family therapy, therapeutic mediations and adapted schooling. Psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, nurses and social workers, compose this multidisciplinary team. Together they are working for those young people. This case study presents a confinement at home induced by an internet gaming disorder associated with an anxious school refusal, who had different types of care including a hospitalization in this addiction specialized unit. This description will help us to describe the impact of this inpatient unit on this type of pathology. The entire inpatient care system works together with external professionals such as juvenile judges, outpatient consultation psychiatrists and the social care educators. This common work allowed the patient to resume his schooling. It also allowed a better understanding of his troubles associating a separation anxiety, and a significant social phobia.
