Résumé

As an ethnologist, I founded the association SeA Science et Art which proposes to educate on the environment and sustainable development through culture, i.e. art (culture) and ethnology (cultures). The projects carried out within the structure have led to the publication of the book Eduquer à l'environnement par l'approche sensible. Art, ethnology and ecology. In the first anthropological part, the book develops the hypothesis that the rupture between Science and Art is of the same origin as the rupture between Nature and Culture and shows how these divorces are at the basis of the distancing of Man from his environment. The second part proposes an EEDD through the sensitive where the in-itself of the emotional subject and the creative intimacy, of the daily subject and the local subject make sense to approach the general and the concept. This pedagogical part is extended by workshop tracks to be implemented to reconnect with oneself and the environment. These workshops were most often implemented in the framework of partnerships with local authorities. Thus, the programme Regards de Rhône, Rhône en Rêves, Rhône en Vrai, carried out with 20,000 children and their families in 8 departments along the river for more than 20 years, has made it possible to reenchant the river, to reanimate it, to give it volume for an appropriation and an assumption of responsibility for its good health, but also has favoured the development of the creativity of the teachers, the pupils and their families, while at the same time, over the years, it has created an artistic geography of the river. We will show how the methodology used by SeA Le Rhône to accompany the project, the "Mallette des merveilles du fleuve", has enabled the implementation of an E3D education, starting from the local and moving towards the global. This volume of the river, of the discourse of the living people who inhabit it or its banks through art and ethnography, goes in the direction of "becoming terrestrial again" in the sense of Bruno Latour. It is a matter of reinjecting personal values, of re-establishing sensitive anchoring to knowledge and to the environment in the broad sense, in the sense of natural and living environment, through art and ethnography. It is indeed culture, as the central or fourth pillar of sustainable development, that guides us in our way of living together but also in our way of thinking about nature, the economy and social relations, i.e. the pillars of sustainable development. We will show how art and ethnology will allow us to decentralise our vision in order to dislodge cultural unthinking and thus to re-interrogate responsibility and ethics in the light of societies (collective), as well as to encourage systemic thinking, foresight and change by anchoring them in a personal and local incorporation that makes sense, for a resilience sensitive to the Anthropocene. In order to curb the ecological crisis, is it a question of re-establishing the paths of the sensitive for an apprehension mobilising the Heart-Body in perspective of the Head, a sensitive apprehension at the service of the understanding and incorporation of the problems but also mobilising other paradigms for a sensiblocene at the service of resilience to the Anthropocene?
