              <p>Pour connaître les lois de comportement dans un roulement à billes, la théorie du contact de Hertz est souvent utilisée. Cette dernière ne permet cependant pas de résolution analytique. La formulation explicite proposée permet néanmoins d'obtenir les dimensions, la déformation et la pression de contact avec une précision d'au moins 0,3%, pour une large plage d’ellipticité de la surface de contact.</p>
