Isothermal or non isothermal modelling in a pellet adsorbent
Résumé
Understanding the interaction between a fluid and a solid phase is of fundamental importance to design an adsorption process. Because the heat effects associated with adsorption are comparatively large, the assumption of isothermal behaviour is a valid approximation only when uptake rates are relatively slows. In this article, we proposed to determine when you need to choose the isothermal or non isothermal assumptions according two parameters α and β.
