Cambridge, Corpus Christi College, 367 Part II

Résumé

Cambridge, Corpus Christi College, 367 is a relatively small manuscript. In its current form it measures approximately 220 mm in height and 145 mm in width—almost exactly the size of an A4 paper folded in half, but slightly taller—and a little over a hundred folios in length. The question arises whether one might be able to present the description of the manuscript in more accessible ways, particularly with current developments in modelling and visualizing manuscripts in digital form and especially in the context of Parker on the Web. In conclusion, CCCC 367 has received relatively little attention compared to many other manuscripts in the Parker Library, but its modest form contains a great deal of codicological, palaeographical, and other interest. The focus has been on the codicology of only one section, in an attempt to show how a close examination of the material structure can allow one to construct a relatively detailed ‘biography of the object’.
