High-Performance Numerical Modeling for Detection of Rotator Cuff Tear
Résumé
In this paper, microwave tomographic imaging for rotator cuff tear by numerical modeling and parallel computing is presented. It requires solving an inverse problem by making use of an iterative method based on a minimization algorithm. To this end, efficient parallel algorithms and high-performance computing is utilized that result in an accurate reconstruction of the electrical properties of the propagation medium as well as fast computations. Results demonstrate the possibility to detect different types of tendon tears in a shoulder model.
