Résumé

The purpose of the book is to focus on the scientific practices in a specific location in Mesopotamia in the late 1st millennium BCE, and to help see diversity more broadly in Mesopotamia at the time. It relies on hundreds of scholarly texts from various ancient libraries of this city and studies the relationships between mathematics, astronomy, astrology, medicine and liturgy through the content of these libraries.
