Developing learning / research interactions in a french university from the Univcamp device (Paris East University)

Résumé

We propose to present an innovative device at Paris East University (UPEM) in cooperation with our research laboratory DICEN-idf: "Univcamp". The Univcamp device associates business managers, local authorities professionals, students and academics of the Services Innovation Management master. The master includes two programs : a digital program (MITIC) and a real estate program (MIPI). Context and scientific positioning: The Institut of Services Engineering (IFIS) from UPEM have promoted over more than 20 years, in a business logic, the notion of engineering and multidisciplinarity (information-communication / management / computer) with educational programs based on apprenticeship (students under contract of employment with a company). We seek to produce knowledge for action (action research). We privilege the notions of situation, context and meaning (Mucchielli), in an approach of analysis of changes (Carayol), notably induced by ICT, of innovation including organizational (Alter) and of design (Leleu-Merviel). Our purpose is to understand how actors interact in an ecosystem connecting together dynamics of project and innovation on a territory (Bucket). The specificity of the training / research or device interaction space Univcamp: Univcamp was born of a collaborative story begun in the MITIC program in 2006 to promote exchanges between students and local authority professionals. It also has its source in the construction of SANDBOX, a collaborative space imagined in 2011 and achieved in 2014 by MIPI and MITIC 's students, with their teachers and some services of the university, as the first coworking space of a French University. We will focus on the annual Univcamp event which results of a complex process initiated six months before with the launch of projects combining digtal and professional real estate apsects. during Univcamp event, Academic, professional and student actors (over than 100 people) meet during half-day around projects presentations. The debates are animated by a jury made up of academics and professionals. The actors discover workshops designed by the students to experience the innovative services based on prototype (s) and various and interactive communication media. Since 2013, Univcamp has made it possible to imagine together the collaborative society of tomorrow by mobilizing the potential of digital and new spaces. Topics as diverse as tomorrow's training, fab labs, 2.0 stations, open data, or the smart city have been addressed in past events. The format adjusts from year to year to the expectations of the public. For the 2019 edition, a scientific committee will be created to accompany the collective on a book publication gathering the productions of recent years. Development prospects: From the promising results of Univcamp, the IFIS and DICEN-idf wish to create an “incubator of ideas”, as space of experimentation and innovation. Its vocation is to answer the societal stakes of the East of the Ile-de-France region as part of the i-site project, on the sustainable and inclusive city, central topic for UPEM. This interactions space aims to become a center of resources and expertise that federates the initiatives of the five Masters of the IFIS and the development of new projects at two levels: Label "incubators of ideas" for initiatives already in existence as UNIVCAMP, but also development of new projects promoting transversal expertise between Masters as tourism and digital or quality and real estate.
