Application of magnetic moment method to an Hall effect thrusters

Résumé

The 3D magnetostatic moments method (MoM) is applied to a Hall effect thruster (HETs) to take into account its geometrical and physical symmetries. To make MoM more practical, a mesh with irregular hexahedral elements is used. The results are compared with the 3D finite element method (FEM).
