Peut-il y avoir des raisons d’état ?
Résumé
The paper analyses the problem of distinguishing “right” from “wrong” reasons to believe, and the way in which Parfit responds to this problem by distinguishing “content-given” (or “object-given”) reasons from “state-given” (or “attitude-given”) reasons. Only the first are the right or good reasons. Parfit's position is here defended and elaborated, in particular against a particular type of neo-pragma-tist argument.
