I 'Peripatoi' di Atenodoro. Problemi di attribuzione e contenuti
Résumé
A certain Athenodorus, author of Περίπατοι, is mentioned by Diogenes Laertius as the source of four anecdotes about philosophers of the Classical and early Hellenistic age. We possess no other information about this work and critics have long wondered whether the character can be identified with one of the otherwise known ‘Athenodorus’. The present contribution aims to re-examine this question, starting with the content of the anecdotes preserved by Diogenes.
