Design and realization of a broadband printed dipole array for the radio-localization of mobile phones from drones
Résumé
We present in this paper the study and characterization of a network of antennas conceived within the framework of the SOSPEDRO project (Surveillance de zones Sinistreies et de Personnes par Drone). The objective of this project is to help rescue forces in their missions to monitor areas and people in distress using a drone-mounted system. We have developed a circular antenna array of 8 wide-band antennas with polarization diversity in order to cover the frequency range from 400 to 2400 MHz (PMR, GSM 800/900/1800/1900, UMTS and LTE). The search and radio-localization of people in a hostile environment will be carried out using the emission of their mobile phones.
