A Thin Film Barium Titanate-on-Insulator Optoelectronics Platform with Various Photonic Devices

Résumé

We present a thin-film barium titanate-on-insulator platform and its optical and electro-optic properties, some of which are superior to lithium niobate-on-insulator, and discuss our progress in device fabrication, performance, and some unique device architecture designs.
