Optimal component location for PI observer based active control of a galvanizing process
Résumé
Optimal sensor and actuator placement is performed for active vibration control. The components are selected to minimize the vibration impact on the strip by H2-norm minimization. Then, active vibration control is based on a PI-observer design allowing, not only to estimate the state, but also the disturbances. Some numerical results illustrate the performance of the proposed active vibration control.
