Isolines in 3D Radar Images for Remote Sensing Applications
Résumé
This paper reports a new technique for detecting and remotely analysing electromagnetic scatterers embedded in a scene from 3D radar images. It consists of segmenting the images with isolines. An isoline refers to a line along which the radar echo amplitude is the same. A segmentation algorithm based on isolines is proposed here for ensuring that each isoline encloses a unique scatterer. Applications of isolines to precision agriculture are reported.
