From the Split to the Wholeness. The ‘coniunctio’ in C.G. Jung’s Red Book

Résumé

With this essay, I would like to contribute to ongoing reflection on the topic of holism, focusing on the perspective of the concept of "coniunctio oppositorum" elaborated by Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) during the composition period of the "Red Book" (1913-1930), and how from this concept it is possible to see the tendency toward wholeness as the core of psychic life.
