Automatic Generation of Interactive Systems: Why A Task Model is not Enough

Résumé

In this paper we present a very simple example that shows that creativity must remains an explicit phase in the design process of interactive systems and the generation of interactive system from task models cannot lead to efficient applications. We try to show here that the generation of an interactive system from task models is not a valid model as either you need to add information in the task model in order to generate the interactive system from it and in that case this is not a task model anymore; or you can generate a basic interactive system from it …
