Shrinking regions au Sud de l'Europe : Le cas de la Basilicate
Résumé
Basilicata region has been characterized in the last decade by shrinking demographic trends and a fast ageing process. Such changes occurred in a phase of positive economic performances (the region is now in "statistical phasing out" regime), but deep internal territorial disparities, both on socioeconomic and demographic sides, suggest to pay attention to different scales (sub-regional and local ones) in order to better understand the current changes and to identify effective policy strategies.
