Modeling of An Obstacle Detection Chain in A Vehicular Environment

Résumé

This article focuses on the modeling of the different parts of an ultra-wideband (UWB) transmission chain for detecting vulnerable people on the road by using a monocycle pulse with a very short width of about 0.3 nanoseconds at emission, a coherent receiver based on the correlation of the received pulse with the template at reception and a vehicular channel to model the vehicular environment in order to get closer to the real environment. © 2019 IEEE.
