Antennas for a point to multi-point communication system operating in D-band

Résumé

Two different antennas were developed for a point to multi-point communication system operating in D-band (110- 170 GHz). The first is a horn antenna with a 20 dB gain and 30° horizontal radiation pattern. The second one is a horn antenna with a focusing dielectric lens that allows to reach a gain of about 32 dB. The two antennas were fabricated and the main characteristics were measured.
