L’énonciation narratoriale dans "Le Cousin Pons"
Résumé
This article discusses the well-known Balzacian tone (consisting of a polyphonic narratorial enunciation implying discourses and counter-discourses). Examining this from a stylistic perspective, I shall show that a novelistic enunciative organisation can be seen in Le Cousin Pons (as analysed by Balzac scholars in terms of the variety of the narrator’s speech and the involvement of the narratee). However, I shall underline how the seriousness of this enunciation is significantly undermined by different forms of irony.
