Non-adiabatic control in NxN integrated photonic switch
Résumé
We demonstrate numerically that the flow of light in an array of non-interacting waveguides can be controlled by a periodic spatial modulation. Compared to other techniques, ours has fewer restrictions and free parameters to be adjusted. Consequently it can serve for the optimization of large scale but, still compact, photonics integrated systems.
