Problem solving in question
La résolution de problèmes en question
Résumé
Problem solving has always been considered difficult by teachers. However, the new 2002 curricula recommend its use more strongly in teaching. How should problem solving be viewed? Can we divide the teaching into questions of reading, information processing... before moving on to the mathematical knowledge involved... as recommended in some textbooks? However, the new 2002 curricula recommend its use more strongly in teaching. However, the new 2002 curricula recommend its use more strongly in teaching. How should problem solving be viewed? Can it be broken down into stages: reading, information processing, etc., before moving on to the mathematical knowledge involved, as recommended in some textbooks? The question is more complex.
This text completes a series of articles in Grand N devoted to problem solving. It brings new elements, mainly on numerical problems, and recalls questions already treated (in which case it refers to previous articles).
