Formation of nanocrystalline diamond at Low Temperature by MicroWave plasma microtorch
Résumé
Producing high quality nanodiamonds at near ambient conditions remains challenging. In this work, we report the synthesis of nanodiamond at low temperature using microwave plasma microtorch by dissociation of CH 4 /H 2. The TEM, Raman and EELS spectra confirm the presence of sp 3 carbon. The TEM and SEM image indicated that the grain of diamond is about 10 nm. In addition, the influence of power for diamond growth was also investigated. The sp 3 / sp 2 increase with increasing power while the I D /I G ratio decreases.
