The micronutrients Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu in the greenhouse soils. Relationships between extractable quantities and soil properties

The Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu extracts with DTPA and EDTA, are significantly negatively correlated with pH, as well as clay content with Fe and Zn extracted by EDTA and DTPA, and ZnNH4OAc. On the contrary, the metals Fe, Zn, Mn extracted by EDTA and DTPA, the forms CuEDTA and MnNH4OAc, are significantly positively correlated with organic matter. According to multiple regressions, established among the amounts of metal extracts and a small set of significant soil variables, the variation of FeEDTA forms extracts are interpreted by pH, organic matter, active CaCO3 and Clay contents, the significant variation of Cu extracts depends on pH, while for Zn and Mn extracts obtained with the help of DTPA, the significant variation is related to pH and organic matter. The behavior of Zn and Mn extracts with EDTA and DTPA in comparison with soils properties, has been found similar to NH4OAc extracts of these metals. The total content of soils in Zn, is also positively correlated with Cu total content. Key words: Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu available, soil properties, extractable forms
