Immunopreconcentration for the analysis of traces of pesticides in environment
Résumé
This paper presents an alternative to well known solid-phase extraction (SPE) procedures before HPLC analysis for the monitoring of pesticides in the environment.
We have developed immunoprecolumns based on polyclonal antipesticide antibodies linked onto solid support which are able to selectively trap percolated pesticides from contaminated samples. After a desorption step, HPLC analyses give clean chromatograms which allow the determination of highly polar analytes (Figures 1 and 4), as interfering peak at the beginning is narrowed by this procedure. Due to much more selective interactions, the amount of parasitic compounds has been considerably reduced.
