Synthetic Approaches to Fluoroalkyltelluryl-Substituted Compounds
Résumé
Fluorinated substituents confer specific properties to molecules. Merging of chalcogenes with trifluoromethyl or fluoroalkyl moieties has known, these last years, a growing interest. However, the last non-radioactive family member, namely tellurium, has relatively been forgotten. This review will present and discuss a state of the art of RFTe chemistry to describe the already available methods and to bring to light the future developments to consider.
