Optical Feedback Interferometry imaging sensor for micrometric flow-patterns using continuous scanning

Résumé

This article put forth an imaging system for flowmetry applications based on Optical Feedback Interferometry (OFI). The obtained images can reach a resolution of 1 μm/pixel with good trade-off between scanning time and image resolution. The signal acquisition is made continuously in the same time as the rasterization is performed. The performances of the imaging system are demonstrated by imaging a micro scale flow channel.
