The Parameters of Motion Mechanical Equations as a Source of Uncertainty for Traction Systems Simulation

Résumé

Electromechanical analysis and simulation of traction systems are required to estimate the power consumption and the best optimization for energy saving. The number of variables and parameters (mechanical and electrical) is huge and they are deemed by a high degree of uncertainty. The sensitivity of the mechanical equations to the track and train parameters is considered, as well as the spread of the output variables.
