La romanisation des sanctuaires d’Auvergne : les exemples de Gergovie, Corent et Montluçon
Résumé
Based on the analyse of three sanctuaries lately entirely explored in Auvergne (Corent, Gergovie and Montluçon), this article will present the evolution
of architectural patterns between Celtic to Roman times in Gaul, through borders features of sacred places to inside buildings like temples
or cisterns, to try to perceive the various phases of rupture or continuity. This will raise the question of identification of a cultual place as well as
the problem of property and land resources of the sanctuaries.
