Effect of Turbulence Modelization in Hull-Rudder Interaction Simulation
Résumé
:This paper is devoted to the assessment of turbulence modelization for hull-rudder simulation. Hull-rudder configuration with different rudder angles is simulated to assess the performance of three different turbulence models by using the measurement data obtained by two different institutions. The Separation Sensitive Corrected explicit algebraic Reynolds stress model (SSC-EARSM) provides the best prediction at high rudder angles when flow is massively separated.
