The Mesoamerican Epiclassic (600 to 900 AD) is a period of important political, social and religious changes in the Central Highlands. The present work aims to present some hypothesis about possible performative sequences embodied in several deposits of the sites of Cacaxtla (Tlaxcala), Xochicalco (Morelos) and Cholula (Puebla). The deposits included mutilated stone and ceramic sculptures, located in civic-ceremonial zones of the studied sites. Through data from excavations, the examination of these deposits, and the synchronic and diachronic comparison with archaeological and anthropological data, sequences of gestures and actions are proposed; hypotheses about possible rituals from which they would have resulted, their purposes, are demarcated to finally approach the possible emic conceptions that relate human and manufactured agents in the Mesoamerican ritual and socio-political life.
