Interaction between a jet and a turbulent boundary layer
Interaction entre des jets et une couche limite turbulente
Résumé
Fluidic actuators are at the heart of active flow control. To implement an efficient flow control strategy, it is critical to have a good understanding of how fluidic actuators interact with the flow, especially with the incoming boundary layer. This paper presents an experimental investigation of the interaction between a turbulent boundary layer and four types of jets (continuons, pulsed, synthetic, and sweeping). Dynamic analyses are done using hot wire measurements with the conditional approach.
