From isolation to encounter: agricultural product and food serving the climate emergency
De l’isolement à la rencontre : le produit agricole et l’aliment au service de l’urgence climatique
Résumé
Law has been used to accompany the evolution of Western agriculture, its relationships with cities, and the internal transformations of agriculture. To better protect agriculture, French and European Regulations have created spatial boundaries, not only separating agriculture from the city, but also segmenting the different forms of agriculture. Since the 1990s, this concept has been undermined by the gradual integration of environmental and health considerations. The borders have become so confused that it is possible to bring together what was separated, agricultural products and food, food producers and other actors of the food chain up to the eater: a new fraternity of rights and policies face to climate emergency.
