Mid-infrared wavelength conversion in chalcogenide optical microfibers

Résumé

Chalcogenide fibers have been identified as very attractive nonlinear waveguides for mid-infrared applications. Here, we review our recent achievements on mid-IR frequency conversion and supercontinuum generation in hybrid chalcogenide-polymer tapered optical fibers.
