An Enhanced Random Error CRC Correction for ADS-B Squitters Receivers
Résumé
Current aircraft communication systems use a Cycle Redundancy Check correction to deal with interference induced errors. In this paper, we compare different versions of a bit-flipping algorithm from the literature applied to our system with aim of correcting noise-induced errors under Gaussian channel. We remind expressions of the bit confidence for two main receiver architectures. Then we propose a study of computational cost versus Signal-to-Noise Ratio performance gain and finally results on laboratory captured data.
